映画イブの総て(All about Eve)のマリリンモンロー(Marilyn Monroe)の英語を聴きたい!!!

The transcript of the above clip
It is a nice scene where Marilyn Monroe appears.
She looks absolutely flawless.
She made such a good impression.
MISS CASWELL is her line.
 MARGO
I distinctly remember Addison, crossing you off of my guest list. What are you doing here?
ADDISON Dear Margo. You were an unforgettable Peter Pan - you must play it again, soon. You remember Miss Caswell?
MARGO I do not. How do you do?
MISS CASWELL We have never met. Maybe that's why.
ADDISON Miss Caswell is an actress. A graduate of Copacabana School of Dramatic Arts. Ah... Eve. EVE Good evening, Mr. deWitt.
MARGO I had no idea you two knew each other.
ADDISON This must be, at long last, our formal introduction. Until now we have only met in passing...
MISS CASWELL That's how you met me. In passing.
MARGO Eve, this is an old friend of Mr. deWitt's mother - Miss Caswell, Miss Harrington... Addison, I've been wanting you to meet Eve for the longest time-
ADDISON It could only have been your natural timidity that kept you from mentioning it...
MARGO You've heard of her great interest in the Theater-
ADDISON We have that in common.
MARGO Then you two must have a long talk- EVE I'm afraid Mr. deWitt would find me boring before too long.
MISS CASWELL You won't bore him, honey. You won't get a chance to talk. ADDISON Claudia dear, come here. you see that man, that is Max Fabian. the producer.now Go do yourself some good.
MISS CASWELL Why do they always look like unhappy rabbits?

テイラーの美しさは奇跡だ!映画、陽のあたる場所(Place in the sun)

The scene when they talk for the first time
Plot:
Based on Theodore Dreiser's novel "An American Tragedy", this film follows the life of George Eastman (Montgomery Clift). George's family runs a mission for the poor and he wants to escape this drudgery (退屈な重労働)to lead a better life. With the promise of a job by his wealthy uncle Charles (Herbert Heyes), he hitchhikes to the city with nothing but the clothes on his back. His cousin Earl (Keefe Brasselle) gives him a menial job ( 単純労働)on the assembly line and his life is suddenly looking better. In the local movie theater, George spots Alice Tripp (Shelly Winters) a worker on the assembly line. This chance meeting leads to a relationship that is against company policy. Uncle Charles does not want "one of the Eastman's" to be a common worker and begins to give him more responsibility and introduces him to the society page life. At a party George meets Angela Vickers (Elizabeth Taylor), a beautiful debutant(初登場), and the two begin a whirlwind romance(めまぐるしい). Alice learns that she is pregnant and when she tells George he starts to plot ways to get out of this situation. He is in love with Angela, playing with the rich and famous and leading a life that he never dreamed. Alice knows about his romance with Angela and becomes very controlling over George to the point of blackmail. The twists and turns take shape and George's up and down life starts it's final decent. The cast does a wonderful job and is reason alone to view this film. However, the story will make the viewer take sides and wonder what might have been. Although the film is was made 50 years ago, the plot of obtaining a goal at all costs still applies today. A movie well worth adding to a collection. Obviously Montgomery Clift and Elizabeth Taylor are the "big names" in this film, but I found Shelly Winters and the character she played to be the most intriguing. She wasn't really appealing yet one could certainly identify with her feelings of insecurity with Taylor as her competition. "Liz" was in in her prime, looks-wise, with an absolutely classic face.

ロス決戦(Battle.Los Angeles)がようやく上映された

Short plot :
On April 12, 2011, mysterious objects thought to be meteorites crash into Earth's oceans near many major cities. These objects are revealed to be spacecraft containing hostile extraterrestrial beings. U.S. Marines from Camp Pendleton arrive in LA to defend against alien ground forces and assist in the evacuation of civilians in preparation for a bombing campaign. Among the military's forces is SSgt. Michael Nantz (Aaron Eckhart), a 20-year veteran who lost his squad during his last deployment in Iraq. Nantz had planned to retire, but the situation requires him to replace the platoon sergeant from Echo Company, 2nd Battalion 5th Marines.
 Various views:
I watched it, and I totally agree that Battle Los Angeles is an extremely well made war movie (despite the sci-fi angle - bad guys are bad guys, shoot 'em before they shoot you). Yes, it is a great non-stop action firefight, but so much more. It has heart, wit and wisdom. Hey, it even mentions World War II and John Wayne, so it has a little educational history for today's youth who attend public school and/or don't read books (or who don't watch old classic Hollywood movies). Unfortunately, I feel that the movie was geared to be more of a marine recruiting film, than an epic sci fi action film. Overall, not the worst film, but nothing that left me with a wow. The best thing I'd have to say about this film is that it gives a pretty accurate depiction of how Marines act with each other.

劇場で鑑賞しました。テレビやホームシアターではこの音響、
映像は味わえないでしょう、音が凄過ぎるが(笑い)...

トランスフォーマーダークサイドムーン(Transformers: Dark of the Moon)は度肝を抜く迫力だ!

Short plot In 1961, the Ark, a Cybertronian spacecraft carrying an invention capable of ending the war between the philanthropic Autobots and the inauspicious Decepticons, crash lands on the far side of the Moon. The crash is detected on Earth by NASA, and President John F. Kennedy authorizes a mission to put a man on the Moon as a cover for investigating the craft. In 1969, the crew of Apollo 11 lands on the Moon. In the present, the Autobots assist the United States military in preventing conflicts around the globe. During a mission to Chernobyl, to investigate suspected alien technology, Optimus Prime – the valiant leader of the Autobots – finds a fuel cell from the Ark, discovering it had survived its journey from Cybertron. The Autobots are attacked by Shockwave, who manages to escape. After learning of the top-secret mission to the Moon, the Autobots travel there to explore the Ark. They discover a comatose Sentinel Prime – Optimus' predecessor as leader of the Autobots – and the Pillars he created as a means of establishing a Space Bridge between two points to teleport matter. After returning to Earth, Optimus uses the energy of his Matrix of Leadership to revive Sentinel Prime. Review Transformers 1- A good summer blockbuster, with some cliché and annoying stuff (Like the first 30/40 minutes after the attack in Qatar with Sam trying to hook up Mikaela while nothing else happens) but still fun and enjoyable overall, I had fun when I first watched it and I still have fun watching it nowadays. Transformers 2- Okay, in MY PERSONAL OPINION it was better than the first one. I understand why some people hate it, there were some very cheesy moments and like a friend of mine said, some scenes were almost "glued" to each other, but in my opinion, even with a not-so-well.scripted plot, it was a great 2 hours ride, and face it... Even if you hated the rest of the movie, at least the battle in Egypt was freaking awesome. But what about this one? In my opinion, it's the "perfect" Transformers movie everyone expected. No, I'm not saying it is the best movie ever, I know it isn't. But it is a great movie anyways. So, let me start by telling in large capital letters: Unlike the critics say, THIS MOVIE HAS, and I repeat, HAS A PLOT! I am not saying it is a fantastic plot or anything, but it exists and it's there. I know must people go for "Meh, it it s a Michael Bay movie, so f*** that, it hasn't got any plot or whatsoever!" but this movie has a story. And in my opinion, it is better and more creative than any of the other 2. The way of how it involves the NASA Space Program, the Autobots and the Decepticons, and a cool twist that wasn't in the trailers and that I don't want to reveal so I don't have to tag my review as "containing spoilers", and in my opinion it is a good plot. Like I said before, not worth an Oscar or anything, but it sure can't be crictized like it if didn't exist. About the effects. Wow. And I mean WOW! The way how the robots interact with the scenery, of how every single part of their body and every single little detail is reproduced... It's beyond impressive. You just can't tell what's CGI and what's reality. I can honestly say that, even although the other 2 past movies had obviously awesome CGI, the way how they took that technology and implanted it together with the elements from this movie, is brilliant and by far more impressive than the other 2. The whole battle around Chicago is the best example of how well the CGI is intregated withing the real footage. Thinking of how all those scenes were done... It's just mind-blowing.

Short plot
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2, is the final adventure in the Harry Potter film series. The much-anticipated motion picture event is the second of two full-length parts. In the epic(大作、叙事詩) finale, the battle between the good and evil forces of the wizarding world escalates into an all-out war. The stakes have never been higher and no one is safe. But it is Harry Potter who may be called upon to make the ultimate sacrifice as he draws closer to the climactic showdown(クライマックスの最終戦) with Lord Voldemort

Review
What the Harry Potter movie series has accomplished is something that has never been done before. The James Bond movies had high and low points. The Star Wars trilogy had major issues when its three prequels(前編、過去を描く続編) were added. The Lord of the Rings only had to maintain its quality over three films (granted, with a new one on the way).
For a series of eight movies based on a popular book series to maintain such a high a level of excellence truly is magical. While the Harry Potter films have had different tones thanks to the various directors that have been involved (Chris Columbus for the first two films, followed by Alfonso Cuaron, Mike Newell, and David Yates for the last four), screenwriter Steve Kloves has to get a big share of the credit, since he adapted all but one of the books. Certainly the source material by J.K. Rowling deserves praise, but many a great book has been turned into a less-than-stellar (輝く星のようには優れていない)movie.
Perhaps, best of all, the entire cast has essentially remained intact for a decade, with the notable exception of Richard Harris who passed away. However, his replacement, Michael Gambon, was the perfect choice to keep the quality of the acting intact.
The second half of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows is a brilliant finish to the series, mixing an action-packed finale with elements of darkness, beautifully integrated moments of humor, heroism from a couple of unexpected sources, and a sense of closure that should satisfy fans of both the books and the movies.
Facing the challenge of global expectations, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 is the best film of the series and therefore fulfills those expectations.
The dark tone of Hallows Part 1 continues as the final chapter is set in motion. The minions (手先)of Voldemort (Ralph Fiennes) continue to control the Ministry of Magic, Hogwarts and the rest of the wizard world. Professor Snape (Alan Rickman) is running Hogwarts, which is now more like a prison. Harry Potter (Daniel Radcliffe) remains in hiding as he, Hermione (Emma Watson) and Ron (Rupert Grint) continue to search for the Horcruxes(分霊箱) that Lord Voldemort needs to complete his resurrection(復活).

ノスタルジックな映画スーパー8(Super8)!

Short plot
The film tells the story of a group of children who are filming their own Super 8 movie when a train derails, releasing a dangerous presence into their town.In the summer of 1979, Joe Lamb (Joel Courtney), a 14-year-old boy living in the fictional town of Lillian, Ohio, has lost his mother in a factory accident. Louis Dainard (Ron Eldard) comes to the wake, but Joe's father, Deputy Jackson Lamb (Kyle Chandler), takes Dainard away in handcuffs. It is later revealed that Jackson blames Louis for his wife's death because he was absent during his shift and she had to fill in for him.
Four months later, Joe's friend Charles Kaznyk (Riley Griffiths) convinces Dainard's daughter Alice (Elle Fanning) to be the protagonist's(主人公、主唱者) wife in his low budget zombie movie on Super 8 film. Alice steals her father's car and takes Joe, Charles, Preston (Zach Mills), Martin (Gabriel Basso), and Cary (Ryan Lee) to an old train depot where the group plans to film a scene. During the shoot, Joe watches a pick-up truck drive onto the tracks and place itself in the path of an oncoming train, causing a massive derailment. In the aftermath of the accident, the kids find the wreck littered with strange white cubes, and they approach the truck and discover Dr. Woodward (Glynn Turman), their biology teacher, behind the wheel of the truck. He instructs them to never talk about what they saw; otherwise, they and their parents will be killed. Moments afterwards, the U.S. Air Force, led by Colonel Nelec (Noah Emmerich), arrives to secure the crash site while the kids flee the scene.

Reviews
DIRECTOR J J Abrams is clearly a fan of Steven Spielberg, who takes on producer duties here. But that admiration has created a movie that just reminds us of the kind of family films Spielberg was making three decades ago — without ever being quite as good.Sharing genetic (遺伝、発生源)material with the likes of ET and Close Encounters Of The Third Kind, this fails to capture the sheer(純然たる) magic of those experiences
It all starts well. It is 1979 and a gang of kids are trying to make their own zombie movie on a Super 8 camera. The young cast are excellent. They have great chemistry and in one brilliant scene Abrams perfectly captures the group dynamics of children as they sit in a restaurant. And the burgeoning(芽生えつつある、成長する) romance between the quiet Joe (Joel Courtney) and token girl(
男子グループの紅一点って感じ) of the group Alice (Elle Fanning) is touchingly naive.Soon, though, the plot leaves behind these well observed intricacies in favour of becoming a run-of-the-mill conspiracy thriller, as it shifts its attention to Joe's dad (Kyle Chandler) and his attempts to solve the mystery.A film of some touching moments and impressive images that, overall, is not nearly as satisfying as you would expect — or want — it to be.
But stay for the credits because you see the film the kids were making in full — a super treat to end on.
The concept of "Super 8" is combining the elements of J.J. Abrams and Steven Spielberg. The trailer made you think it's like E.T. plus Cloverfield. Well, it's true. There is nothing new about "Super 8" but it brought us back to the good old classic times, it's funny, it's exciting, and it's amazing.
"Super 8" is another intriguing(魅力ある) monster movie by J.J. Abrams. Yes, you really wanna know what it looks like but I'm not gonna tell you. The sad thing is it's not as intriguing as Cloverfield. But It's easy to ignore that problem because there is something better than being another Cloverfield. It feels like you are watching a good old classic movie. Great characters, Good old fashion score, and kids intrigued by the situation.
The story is really about the characters' zombie movie making and the family tragedy while there's a monster attacking their town. The monster is like the background or the subplot of this film. But the movie still got suspense. The movie is indeed beautiful and plenty of heart. The movie is just nostalgic stuff. It's not trying to be new. It just wants to show how J.J. Abrams is inspired by Steven Spielberg's movies.
There are some amazing scenes in this film. Example, the train collision was breathtaking. The movie sure has a lot of humor. It's like a relic (遺物、名残り)to the old family movies. The CGI is good enough. The performances were good. The kids gave a lot of personality to their roles.
"Super 8" is a J.J. Abrams film with Spielberg's trademarks all over it. It's not a blockbuster that has a lot of action and less talking. This movie is made in old fashion style. Yep, this movie is nostalgic if you saw Spielberg's old movies and it's good to see another one like it.
